Poly Systems, Inc was established in 1991 by Jerry and Christine Levingston in Dent County, Missouri. In 1993, the company relocated to Steelville, MO, where it quickly established itself as a leader in the HDPE piping industry, pioneering innovations such as the Thread-Loc® screw-type joint. Between 1994 and 2002, PSI took five inventions to patent—key advances in HDPE pipe joining and installation—solidifying its position as an industry leader.

PIPE JOINT AND METHOD FOR FORMING SAME FOR THREADED CONNECTION OF PROFILE PIPES - U.S. Patent No. 5,310,441 is awarded for the Thread-Loc® screw-type joint, enabling quick, on-site joining of profile wall HDPE pipes without specialized fusion equipment.
Year-over-year growth accelerates with multiple consecutive years of doubled revenue, culminating in ~$4M annual sales and a 50% YoY increase at the time of the archival snapshot.
